Are you an ambitious, talented and high energy Fundraiser?

Are you experienced working with Major Donors?

Would you like to fundraise to create better outcomes for children and babies? And to both save and improve the quality of lives of young people?

As an experienced and influential Senior Major Gifts Fundraiser at Kings College, you'll have an amazing opportunity to make an important and lifesaving difference to children and their parents. Using your fundraising experience in partnership with Evelina London Children's Hospital, you'll play an active part in our ground breaking work to enhance the provision of healthcare to children and young people.

There truly is no other place like King's. Redefining the whole notion of research-led education and innovation, we harness the talents of all our people and our partners to confront the biggest questions and come up with the brightest answers.

About this exciting opportunity

Our partnership with Evelina London Children's Hospital is vitally important in helping save children's lives and improving their quality of life, making a difference to every patient (and their family) treated. You'll contribute by utilising your proven fundraising experience and outstanding communication skills within a tight-knit and inspiring team environment. The focus is on inspiring wealthy philanthropists living in the UK and priority overseas markets to donate funds that will enable us to undertake dynamic research and deliver leading edge, lifesaving care to children and young people, from birth through childhood.

You will achieve this by planning strategies that will substantially increase major gift donations and to implement these strategies by developing proposals that will inspire individuals to stretch their philanthropy to new levels by building excellent relationships with them.

So, what are we looking for?

You likely were born a natural fundraiser with an impressive track record in target-driven development and face-to-face fundraising, a proven ability to secure significant major gifts and will be able to plan strategically and implement those plans while delivering projects on time and within budget.

Committed, flexible and collaborative, you will also ideally have fundraising experience in the public sector, health or charitable organisations. Key is your ability to inspire philanthropists to support this incredible cause. An interest in the Higher Education sector in the UK would be helpful, though not essential.

For further information please see candidate brief attached. To apply, please email your CV below (alternatively, if you do not have an updated CV please email a brief paragraph on why you would be interested in working in our team along with your contact details and we will be in touch soon).
