We are looking to appoint a Training Consultant who will complete assessment and IQA activities including maintaining a caseload and sample plan for learners in Clinical and Health and Social Care. If you are a qualified Assessor/Verifier with industry experience this is the role for you.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of delivering Clinical and Health and Social Care NVQ workshops and assessing learners on NVQ programmes. The candidate will also verify student work on our HEC programmes. You should have relevant experience and competence within the industry, an Assessor qualification (A1) is essential and a Verifier qualification is desirable (V1/IQA).
To be successful you will need to demonstrate that you can both plan and deliver in assigned time-scales completing all necessary paperwork efficiently and accurately.
The successful candidate will be expected to promote Apprenticeships and maintain our links with the business community, potential students, parents and other stakeholders.
The successful candidate must be able to offer support and assistance in helping learners develop skills that would allow a smooth transition into employment. The position requires a proactive approach and someone with a positive disposition to ensure the best possible experience for the students and the businesses we work with.
The wider role could also involve providing initial advice and guidance, undertaking initial assessments of apprentices, completing sign up paperwork, conducting customer satisfaction surveys, organising and managing events and any other duties required by the department. You'll be required to be incredibly organised to guarantee success in this role.
We have high expectations for our learners and so it is important that they are adequately supported to achieve high success rates on all NVQ programmes. This role is initially until 31 July 2018 when it will be reviewed.
