In the Property & Corporate Services team we co-ordinate Deloitte's working requirements to help achieve the desires of our business. We set our goals to ensure excellent office space and services are achieved, space our client facing teams in spaces they enjoy working in thereby enhancing Deloitte services to meet client demand. Role description Property & Corporate Services is a diverse mix of people with many varied roles all of which connect and integrate at various key points in the Deloitte business cycle. In property terms you name it, we do it and as a valuable member of our team you will have a key role in interlinking all parties involved. We are looking for a 'go to person' investigating and providing information on a programme of projects, forecasting for planned annual spends and co-ordinating the various parties involved. Location The role will primarily be based in London with UK / European travel sometimes being required depending on the specific programme needs.
Responsibilities P&CS has a healthy pipeline of Capital projects and a structure that allows professional teams (Project Management and Full Design Team Services) to be flexed to accommodate peaks and troughs on major projects. In addition, as the firm's real estate transforms, there is a demand for a higher number of smaller-medium size projects to allow the business to support certain demands which are handled internally.A client side Real Estate role is required, someone who can help with the challenges projects bring and is able to gather and understand key issues, timings and costs providing a fully comprehensive picture for the Leadership team. The role will be responsible for: Reporting on multiple projects from initial preliminary discussion through to operational readiness;Collaborating with peers and the Leadership team, liaising internally to assist the delivery of required outputs; Preparing slide packs for the Leadership team providing a focused, insightful knowledge of what is in pipeline, in progression and coming to a close; Ensuring all slide packs highlight key project results in cost, risk and delivery terms; Autonomously using your intuitive skills to ensure targets are achieved; Attending and supporting meetings with various project parties and the Leadership team; Tracking project costs and payments Requirements Working towards RICS or MAPM qualification preferred; Strong analytical and data presentation skills (including good knowledge of PowerPoint and advanced use of Excel), and strong financial acumen and attention to detail; Strong team player who takes pride in their work and isn't shy of responsibility; Flexible multi-tasker - this is an active role with lots of variety; Excellent communication skills, willing to offer and push forward new ideas; Ability to work in an agile environment.
