We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Trade Engineer to join our team in Watford.

As a Multi-Trade Engineer, you will carry out a wide range of maintenance and responsive work in occupied and unoccupied properties. You will need to be able to use a PDA through which your work is managed, work without supervision, identify the most cost effective way to repair a fault, estimate how long it will take to complete and order the materials you will need and complete the job to a high standard of workmanship.

You will need to be skilled in plumbing or carpentry and have strong secondary skills, in the other. Additionally, you will be competent in at least one of tiling, plastering, fencing and ground works.

Thrive will supply PPE, a stocked van, and power tools. The van cannot be used outside of work other than for travel from home. You will participate in an out of hour's rota, typically one week in six, for which there is additional payment.

Essential Requirements:

Skilled in plumbing or carpentry and have strong secondary skills in the other
Competent in at least one of tiling, plastering, fencing and ground works.
Fluent in English
Able to easily engage with a variety of people
Confident working with a PDA
Versatile and adaptable
Full Clean Driving Licence
