Our Client is the independent charity that looks after the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palace, the Banqueting House, Kew Palace and Hillsborough Castle. Their cause is to help everyone explore the story of how monarchs and people have shaped society, in some of the greatest palaces ever built.

Could you make a difference to the busy operations teams at two palaces by delivering excellent administrative and back of house support?

The Role:

Working closely with the Head of Kensington and Kew Palaces and supporting the management team, this role is pivotal in the smooth running of these two visitor attractions, so requires a self-motivated, organised and enthusiastic person who will enjoy looking after colleagues and take pride in making sure they have everything they need, whether ordering supplies from stationery to uniforms, managing stocks or overseeing communal areas.

The Candidate:

To be successful in this role you will need excellent attention to detail and strong command of Excel, Powerpoint and Word to ensure all desk-based tasks are always completed efficiently and accurately, from financial administration to room bookings and meeting minutes. An analytical mind is also important, in order to enjoy compiling accurate reports and drawing conclusions from data. You will also need to be comfortable working with senior management, including management of diaries, financial cycles and software, formal written correspondence and liaising with external stakeholders.

It is essential that you have a high standard of communication and IT skills and a can-do attitude. Knowledge of or experience in digital and web-based solutions for administrative tasks would be an advantage.
