A global payments company has an exciting opportunity for an individual who has experience in product management and / or product development with a very strong understanding of the EU ecommerce and mobile payment landscape, products, and localisation requirements. Including operating regulations and dispute policies.

This is a leadership position responsible to drive EU Digital Product capabilities, features, requirements, and roadmap in coordination with HQ. The candidate filling this role is a very seasoned product lead with prior people management experience (preferred), with strong product and project management skills, and with prior experience large scale technology payment product roll-outs.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required

• Progressively responsible experience in product management and / or product development.
• A very strong understanding of payments landscape, including operating regulations and dispute policies.
• Robust understanding of the EU ecommerce and mobile payment landscape, products, and localisation requirements
• Understanding of EMVCo, Tokenization specification, network level implementations, 3DSecure, PSD2, and other security / regulatory issues in the EU applicable to any EU digital payment solution (preferred)
• An ability to adjust messaging according to the audience, from going deep into the technical design and implementation of a solution with development and technology teams to providing an overview of product strategy and proposition to management, clients and partners.
• Experience with product development methodology for technology products, including direct involvement in the development of product vision, requirements gathering, functional design and technical implementation.
• An ability to translate product complexities into practical business solutions appropriate for clients and partners.
• Being able to be analytical and fact-based when necessary to defend product roadmap decisions, and given the changing nature of and uncertainty inherent in the mobile payments space, being a flexible and creative thinker able to craft solutions to business opportunities.
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to drive consensus in cross regional and cross functional teams.
• Experience in managing E-commerce or payments projects.
• Technical knowledge of rest API's and web-based technology including HTML, JavaScript, web-based services (REST APIs), JSON, XML
