Our national Chambers rated Projects & Procurement Team is growing, and we're looking for a talented procurement lawyer to contribute to the continued growth and success of the team. With a reputation for demonstrating "a great understanding of client requirements'' our clients love the pragmatic and commercial advice we provide, and the strategic insight we offer. If you want a career with a team that prides itself on being collegiate and a friendly place to work, and on offering smarter procurement advice, easier access to expertise, and constant improvement through innovative thinking, then read on.

Our Head of Procurement is Chambers noted practitioner Kathrine Eddon and we are looking to add to our team a procurement specialist based out of any of our Newcastle, Leeds, Bristol, Southampton, London or Edinburgh offices. You'll be working on big ticket projects with a great mix of clients and sectors from across the firm including central government, transport, regeneration, waste, leisure, IT, education, health, local government, universities, construction and major development projects. You'll assist with developing clients' procurement strategies, drafting and reviewing all procurement documentation, providing technically excellent advice on the big procurement issues of the day, and as well as working on defending and bringing procurement challenges as part of our very strong contentious procurement practice.

With a proven track record in providing procurement advice, whether in the public or private sectors, you'll be looking to join a team advising on procurement law aspects of a range of projects including large scale complex projects, major outsourcing initiatives, joint ventures and regeneration projects in the public and utilities sectors. Experience of advising central government departments and agencies, as well as advising on State aid and publicly funded projects, and procurement challenges would also be desirable. As important is the ability to develop deep and lasting relationships with our clients, and a practical approach to the application of the law. In return you will be joining an ambitious team with dedication to outstanding client service with clear opportunities for growth. You will also be supported by a highly regarded lawyer development programme and a career structure that supports both professional and personal development. If you like what you hear then get in touch to find out more.
