Residential Home Manager
We have available an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Residential Home Manager to join a renowned charity for Older People. Based in London this role commands a salary of up to GBP50,000+ based on experience.
The successful Registered Manager will be joining the UK's largest charity who provide care and support to Older People within residential care homes and once appointed will manage a 64 bedded service in London, which was rated 'Good' from CQC on its last inspection.
As the Registered Manager, you will be the focal point of the home establishing positive and friendly relationships with all the residents, their families and friends. You will naturally lead the service through CQC inspections, be responsible for all aspects of staff management, training your staff where needed ensuring that the health and wellbeing of the residents is met at all times within the legislative framework and the company's ethos.
To be successful in this role you will need a good balance of passion, empathy and natural ability to lead as you will be responsible for meeting the needs of the customers whilst also managing available resources.
As the Registered Manager, you must have:
- NVQ Level 5 Leadership and Management *or equivalent*
- Experience managing a 40+ bedded home
- Experience with turning around a service *desirable*
- Excellent CQC knowledge
- Strong staff supervision, managerial and communication skills
- Friendly, enthusiastic and personable nature
