I am currently partnering with one of the most exciting & hottest new quant trading shop out there. With so many that come and go, their growth has been exponential and their success is bucking a trend in the industry. The firm is no ordinary "startup" and therefore offers all the excitement, with none of the risk, with some uber exciting algorithmic problems to solve using bleeding edge technology.

The Role

With their impressive growth, the need has come to build a High Frequency C++ Quant Development function. The role will report into the business and sit on the desk with the Quant Researchers every day while you will work on implementing Algorithmic Trading Strategies, Optimising and Improving their current Strategies and working on their Research Framework while working on strategic R&D projects including technical aspects of signal generation and assisting in research.

This is a brand new function and offers the chance to make a huge impact as you would help to shape a global team and be one of the key members of the team from the outset. You can get involved in the research, contribute high-quality C++ code, be integral in the revenue generation arm of one of the brightest funds at present.

Think low latency C++, high frequency algorithms, working with super-smart PhD & MSC Quants to really understand the business and investment approach. Think of all the work and financial rewards that come with a challenging Quant Dev role yet in a startup like environment and culture.

Desired Skills and Experience

The successful C++ Quantitative Developer will need to possess the following

  • Exceptional depth and track record of developing with modern C++
  • Comfortable on Linux platforms
  • Track record of working with Algorithmic Trading Strategies or understanding the economics behind the models themselves.
  • Career experience working as a Quant Developer or Quant Researcher (Alternatively, within these functions.
