Project Manager (Windows Server, SQL Server) - Berkshire - up to GBP55,000 + Bonus

The Project Manager will be responsible for activities such as project planning, regular reporting, meetings and communication, following-up on tasks, identifying risks and keeping resources and efforts focused on priorities and on-track. You will also be responsible for communicating project status and key info to other groups so they can manage their readiness activities accordingly.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
oEnsures the success of a project by specifying goals, strategy, and staffing. Includes scheduling project deliverables, tracking milestones and progress, required tasks, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources.
oManages client signed contracts, all commercial agreements, and all project documentation.
oEnsures appropriate billability of project hours, allocates time and expenses to proper charges codes.
oEnsures timely submission of resource forecasts.
oBuilds effective relationships through the usage of highly developed soft skills.
oIdentifies, resolves, and documents client-side and internal issues.
oDefines project team members' roles, responsibilities, and expectations on a project, while fostering positive morale and teamwork.
oSupports Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Partners initiatives.
oFormulates and defines technical scope and objectives of a project, monitors project results against technical specifications.
oPrepares project status reports and keeps management, clients, and others informed of project status, risks and issues.
oAnalysis and reporting of customers' business and system requirements into functional specifications and obtaining customer sign-off.
oProducing reports for Consultants to carry out customer installations and upgrades in accordance with Project Plans.
oOn-site systems implementation and testing in accordance with functional specification.
oOn-site training of users and system administrators.
oAny other tasks which from time to time may be assigned to the role.

Requirements & Skills:
*Exposure to skills or environment;
oWindows 2008 & 2012 Server.
oWindows 7, 8 & 10, and Microsoft Office applications.
oMS SQL 2008, 2012 & 2014 installation and support.
oMicrosoft IIS including Intranet & Internet configuration, set-up & configuration.
oWindows Communication Foundation (WCF), .NET.
oWindows 2008 and 2012 security, policies & Active Directory.
oVMWare & Other Virtual Machine Software.
*Must be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills.
*Must have a strong 'can do' attitude and be a self-starter.
*Excellent customer facing skills with the ability to communicate at all levels including Senior Management internal and external to their own organization.
*Must have excellent administration, written documentation and verbal communication skills.
*Must be a quick learner with strong problem solving skills.
*Individual should be analytical, flexible, team-oriented, have good interpersonal, communication, and follow up skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.

*Degree or equivalent experience in IT or some applicable business or technical discipline.
*At least 5 years' experience in successfully managing technology projects through the full project lifecycle, from conception through rollout and ongoing support.
*Experience of analysing and documenting system and business requirements.
*Project Management Certification is desirable
