Job Details:
In this role, you will???

Fulfil training and development responsibilities agreed with your line manager
Monitor the press office inbox and ensure enquiries are appropriately directed and responded to
Assist media team members in preparing materials for internal and external audiences
Learn and use multimedia techniques to support story-telling
Monitor social media for relevant stories and flag to colleagues, oversee engagement or rebuttal as appropriate
Provide logistical support to the team in news conferences, social media campaigns or other relevant communications activities
Gain a good knowledge of key media contacts in the national and regional press (print, broadcast and online) and make sure contact lists are up-to-date
Monitor and evaluate coverage and provide briefing for colleagues
Provide efficient and effective support to team members
Contribute to project planning and co-ordination
Liaise with team members, other staff within the Company and external organisations to ensure that deadlines are met

Microsoft office skills
5 GCSE Grades (C and above) or equivalent, including Maths and English

Other Important Information???
Working hours: Monday to Friday, Flexible hours (core hours between 10am and 4pm)
Or between 8am and 6pm with 30 minutes for lunch, 37.5hrs per week
