Senior Treasury Analyst - Insurance - GBP40-45k base

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a small yet highly regarded treasury team across the business. You will be required to have a wide range of treasury department skills and be adept at both building and maintaining relationships with teams such as claims and credit control.

Ideally you will have multi-currency experience and be naturally curious with a high attention to detail.

Due to the nature of the team, progression internally is very feasible and as such this person will progress to becoming a very integral part of the team and wider business

Responsibilities: (but not limited to)

- Carry out all the aspects of daily cash and treasury management functions.
- Manage the daily liquid cash position with the aim to minimise the overnight cash balance.
- Execute foreign exchange transactions.
- Maintain supporting documentation related to cash activity.
- Conduct daily unit pricing.
- Post daily cash activities into the treasury systems.
- Prepare short term cash flow forecasting.

Attributes you will be able to demonstrate experience of:

- A good knowledge of all techniques of processing, clearing and settling payment transactions in

order to reduce operational costs of processing payment transactions.

- Excellent excel skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills at all levels.
- Methodical and accurate approach to work and ability to plan and organise work effectively and meet tight deadlines.
- Sufficient self-confidence and interpersonal skills to be able to work effectively as part of team, to take part in professional discussions and to liaise on regular basis with persons both within and outside the organisation.

Insurance sector experience is not required for this role, but will have its obvious positives.
