Our client has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Service Manager to join their ICT team working in their London Head Office to lead the service introduction work stream and help deliver the service management products for projects, including change and release management processes and system monitoring and alerting specifications.

The role will be responsible for managing the team and suppliers to ensure delivery of the agreed service levels for our current ICT services. On a broader remit, this is an opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge of RACI to ensure that project roles and responsibilities are clearly defined.
Using your methodical and analytical approach, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a Service Improvement Plan (SIP) and publishing Major Incident Reports to ensure transparency within the team and to quickly highlight any improvements to the service.

This role requires a customer-focussed candidate with a sound background in vendor management, preferably within the finance sector.

You will be accustomed to developing IT processes and have a sound knowledge of ITIL. The ideal candidate will be tenacious, professional and persuasive, with the ability to build effective relationships quickly. It would be advantageous if you were ITIL certified.
