Job Title: Reporting Centre Executive Officers Location: Croydon / Central London Salary: £26,866 Opportunity to join public service, reduce harm in the UK and help to keep the public safe? We do so through a range of interventions to maximise the return of those here illegally which includes encouraging voluntary return, tackling those that work illegally and arrest, detention and deportation to those that are not compliant and present the most harm to the UK. We are looking to recruit Executive Officers to work within our Immigration enforcement command to assist in dealing with the most complex, harmful and resistant elements of the immigration system You will work in a reporting centre and play a key role in detaining and removing those that remain illegally in the UK, promoting compliance and encouraging voluntary departure. Successful candidates will undertake a range of duties including: Managing the reporting population when they attend the reporting centre, dealing with queries and complaints in person Administrative work progressing cases to removal. Offender Management including conducting face-to-face interviews These roles may include line management of a small team. The Reporting Centres are a fast-moving, reactive environment, requiring strong organisational and management skills, as well the ability to make quick well-judged decisions. You will need to be able to confidently manage potentially difficult and challenging situations, be flexible and adaptive to change and able to work in an organised manner to deliver on time and to a high standard remaining focused when under pressure.
