Trainee Counter Fraud Analyst Motor Insurance - Sevenoaks Salary: £17,000 - £23,000 per annum plus excellent company benefits Do you have over a year's office experience either within the insurance industry or a similar industry/environment where an eye for detail and strong analytic skills are required? Are you currently looking for a role that will provide excellent challenges as well as professional training and further career progression? If you answered yes, then we are recruiting for an energetic and positive individual with good analytic skills and an eye for detail to join a leading insurance company within their Counter Fraud department. Purpose of the Role : This is a support role that is geared towards achieving optimum performance of anti-fraud management and to help validate the fraudulent claims from policyholders and their policies by using a variety of electronic fraud detection software. Responsibilities: •To report fraudulent claims to counter fraud agencies under supervision •To ensure all intelligence handling and reporting is compliant under supervision •Participate in training programmes centred around insurance and counter fraud •To investigate suspected fraudulent claims/policies using various intelligence sources •To develop an understanding of the MI Reports generated and fraud detection strategy •Maintenance & development of counter fraud software •Where applicable, to adhere to Company processes with regard to FCA compliance and Treating Customers Fairly and other regulatory requirements are met Competencies: •Ability to work as part of a team •Effective communication skills •Personally energetic, dynamic, positive, enthusiastic with the ability to think laterally and act through reasoned decision making •IT literate and have a good understanding of Office based software •Demonstrate reasonable numeracy skills •Good time management and organisation skills Experience: •Essential: A minimum of 12 months office experience within the insurance industry or an office environment role with similar demands •Preferred but not essential: Experience of electronic fraud detection software.
