Our client, a professional, well established global engineering and technology services organisation requires a Logistics Scheduler to join their organisation in a long term temporary role in the Medway area. We are looking to recruit someone who is experienced in the Logistics Scheduler/ Coordinating role You will work 40 hours per week No weekends) You will be required to: Manage goods in and out processes Manage the storage area, ensure all equipment are well kept Ensure orders are properly labelled You will be in charge of checking stock and preparing relevant reports You will support purchase processes Liaise with suppliers to confirm delivery dates, Packing and dispatching of completed goods out equipment Liaison , planning and organising logistics and haulage suppliers for timely delivery of materials Responsible for managing and controlling customers spares Giving support to field staff Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Requirements: Proven experience as a logistics scheduler Ability to work independently Outstanding organisational and coordinating skills and abilities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Great customer service Experience working in a fast paced environment Adecco is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
