This client based and forward thinking water treatment company with a good presence is currently seeking for an enthusiastic, commercially focused and competent Water Treatment Accounts/Sales Manager in the South East and will include applications from Surrey, London, Essex, Berkshire, Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas. Ideally, they are looking for an individual who comes from a strong accounts, sales, technical chemical, management and water treatment background. Must have hands on Cooling Towers, Steam Boilers, Pre-Treatment, Reverse Osmosis, etc. and legionella. Must have some qualifications - HND/HNC, IOSH or equivalent qualifications - Holding a degree in business studies or equivalent would be beneficial. Must be confident in using the Microsoft Office Package. Must have good communication, organizational, presentation, leadership, client facing and people management skills. Must be well versed with the water treatment/water hygiene/legionella industry - ACOP - L8. Must have significant experience working within this role and within the water hygiene industry. Purpose of the Role: Securing, managing and developing new accounts and carrying out service visits. Key Role: Managing and organizing accounts large scale water treatment accounts and providing technical advice to the company's large and mixed portfolio of clients for Pre-Treatment, Steam Boilers and Cooling Towers, etc. Incorporating chemical analysis of water treatment processes and ensuring that the water treatment programmes are compliant with current guidelines. Overseeing staff and ensuring they carry out work effectively and within time line. Having hands on water treatment services as and when required. Managing existing and new accounts - water treatment and water hygiene. Liaising with clients with regards to management of contracts. Responsible for the financial side of the business and compliance. Managing contracts effectively - staff and contractors. Training including clients and staff - Inductions. Dealing with the policy and procedures - water hygiene/legionella - documents. Tenders quotations and estimates. Managing new accounts. Selling their consultancy services and products and identifying new customers - building a good working relationship. Key Performance Indicators. Meeting the clients' requirements. Scheduling workloads and inspection and ensuring that the staff - water treatment engineers meet the demands of the customers appropriately and at the same time comply with the L8 and water legislation. Attributes: The successful post-holder will be of smart disposition, astute and versatile and have the acumen to run the business effectively and in a professional manner and at the same time take the business to the next level. Must be flexible with regards to travelling.
