We're looking for a Senior Admin Officer to support the Communications team during a busy and exciting period.

About the role

Supporting the Head of Communications and Communications Campaign Managers, this role will contribute to the successful running of the Communications team. You will provide diary support to the Head of Communications, helping to prioritise and schedule. You'll contribute to successful planning and delivery of key organisational projects, by supporting the Head of Communications and Communications Campaign Manager with agency liaison and meeting support. Working closely with the PA to Director of External Affairs and other senior support roles across Arthritis Research UK, you will develop and maintain good communication and administration systems, share good practice and ensure that processes are 'joined up.'

Key requirements

Proven experience of success as a senior administrator, PA or similar role
High quality verbal and written communication skills required to present information in a clear and accessible way
Able to work independently with minimal supervision to deadlines.
Advanced MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel in particular) and internet
Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects/tasks simultaneouslyable to operate effectively with conflicting priorities and ambiguity and establish clear priorities in order to meet agreed objectives on time
Ability to maintain confidentiality sensitively and appropriately
