Cartesian is now recruiting for like-minded people to join our Management Consulting group, helping our clients solve the problems of growth and maturation. By "like-minded", we mean bright people with intellectual curiosity, an ability for logical and lateral thinking, an instinctively collaborative approach, a hunger for quality, and a proper respect for good service, getting the job done courteously and to the best of your ability. We can offer an interesting and stimulating working environment with other people who think like you, and a wide and somewhat unpredictable variety of challenges and opportunities.

You will:
  • Know the telecoms world, and appreciate the challenges and opportunities it affords.
  • Be keen to understand what drives an individual client, and thrive on working out how you can help it achieve its goals.
  • Be comfortable working as a leader, in a team, or on your own.
  • Be equally happy passing on the richness of your insights and expertise from past experience or developing your capabilities in a new area.
  • Value good relationships with clients and colleagues highly, combining objectiveness, honesty, and diplomacy to ensure that the best interests of all parties are achieved.
  • Appreciate the diversity of clients in terms of strategies, culture, and locations (throughout the UK and abroad); you'll be happy working with them wherever they are and however they work.
  • Have an excellent academic background, which will be proof of your intellect, critical thinking, numeracy, logic, and ability to learn and process information.
  • Feel confident in your ability to convey your thoughts and ideas succinctly and accurately to any audience, regardless of the medium.
To demonstrate this, you will have:
  • Bachelor's degree (minimum).
  • At least 3 years' telecommunications industry experience, with solid knowledge of telecoms products, processes, and applications (B/OSS) in at least one sector.
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience of applying processes and technology to achieve business objectives.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify and analyse problems and risks, and to innovate to create practical solutions.
  • Exemplary inter-personal skills, including an ability to present an objective, convincing argument to audiences of different backgrounds and interests.
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • An ability to establish good working relationships with internal teams, clients, and external partners.
If the above sounds like you, please contact us. The result could be a bright and interesting future.
