Assistant Project Engineer - Remediation Ready to take your career to the next level? Coleman Remediation based in Chertsey, Surrey, is looking for an Assistant Project Engineer who can apply their experience and expertise to help drive continued growth. As Assistant Project Manager your main duties will be: Assisting the Technical Manager and Project Manager/s in scoping and delivery of nationwide soil and groundwater remediation schemes Providing significant knowledge and experience in a variety of soil and groundwater remediation techniques As Assistant Project Manager you should be: Degree educated in environmental sciences, geology, civil engineering or related discipline. (Post graduate qualification would be an added benefit.) Have a clear understanding of CLR11, source-pathway-receptor pollutant linkages and guiding principles of the UK risk based approach to the management of contaminated land (Part 2A, planning process, PPC surrender etc). Understanding and, either hands-on or supervisory experience of in-situ and ex-situ remediation techniques, earthworks and hazardous waste management. Experienced in the interpretation of historical site investigation data; have a good understanding of specific remediation technologies including bio remediation, in-situ process based systems, soil classification, water treatment and soil stabilisation; environmental monitoring; site investigation (trial pitting, logging, drilling, etc.); collation of verification data Have some knowledge and experience of programming of work, including permitting, consents and design, preliminaries, construction phase and verification report Have some knowledge of pricing elements (or work or full schemes would be advantageous) This role will be primarily based at our regional office in Chertsey though there will be site and meetings nationwide which you will be required to attend.
