The team you will be joining services a mixed portfolio of existing and new clients - medium, large and national corporate clients, drawn from a wide sector of commerce and industry. They quote and place in a wide company market, so there is certainly variety in this role. Working closely with Commercial Account Executives and Account Directors to support the development of new business. Preparing new business quotations and broking presentations. Proactively responding to client queries; liaising with Insurers/Underwriters to obtain most competitive and comprehensive terms. Keeping abreast of market developments, product offerings and risk appetite. Skills & experience required: 5 years Commercial Insurance Broking experience - with a confident technical knowledge of the major classes of business - Property, Casualty, Business Interruption, Commercial Motor, Professional Indemnity etc. Strong interpersonal skills, outgoing telephone manner, confident to build a rapport with clients at all levels. Accuracy, with attention to detail; numerical aptitude Cert CII or progress is preferred, and study is supported; the company does promote and support a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
