Overview Responsible for designing and implementing a Test, Quality Assurance and Continual Improvement strategy across multi channel customer correspondence to reduce risk and increase effective outcomes Interfacing with key external partners, Business stakeholders, I.S. change, Customer Communications team and Correspondence Solutions with a small team of direct reports The Role Participate in the ongoing development of document composition and customer communications strategy, plans and budgets Design, develop and roll out a robust integration and end-to-end test and quality assurance policy in alignment with Regulation and Risk appetite Oversee the design and execution of test and defect management plans as required working seamlessly with the Planning and Programme Management function to deliver effective change within agreed timescales and budget Lead the effective execution of test cases, reporting on work progress and any issues; troubleshooting and isolating issues, ensuring defects are logged and working with developers to resolve the issues Manage third party suppliers and internal service providers to ensure KPI reporting is defined and reported against, nurturing profitable partnerships Lead a small team of Test specialists The Person Skills and Experience Proven ability to deliver innovative and substantive changes in business processes to drive and embed best in class communications testing and quality assurance Strong industry knowledge across data platforms, regulation, document composition technology, print capability, postal markets and digital platforms Demonstrable commercial acumen Strong interpersonal / influencing and negotiation skills that will enable a consistent approach to change across British Gas Significant expertise in defining and implementing Service Level Agreements with Third Parties and Senior Stakeholders Ability to design and measure creative and innovative management solutions based on customer needs PLEASE APPLY ONLINE by hitting the 'Apply' button.
