Following a successful launch period we have an opportunity for a ‘Tech savvy’ Social Media Manager to join the team based in Soho, London on a full time, permanent basis. You will receive a salary of £30,000 - 35,000 per annum depending on experience.

It’s A Monthly Thing Limited consists of a portfolio of consumer brands including subscription and traditional FMCG product.  Founded in 2014 we are focused on changing the agenda around menstruation and ensuring that women are empowered, educated and have a convenient solution for their needs during their period.  

Through our betty brand we have a highly lauded educational solution for schools, helping young people as they begin their journey into adulthood.  The betty brand also includes our own range of sanitary products designed specifically for the teenage market. Both betty and her big sister brand, Pink Parcel, are also available as monthly subscriptions where our consumers have the convenience of their sanitary products being delivered directly to their door alongside a range of goodies that will surprise and delight them each month.  

As our Social Media Manager you will be responsible for supporting all brands in the IAMT portfolio.  You will lead the social media team to create a strategy to drive business results for all brands. 

The Social Media Manager duties and key responsibilities:

- Drive growth, promotion and social awareness of all IAMT brands, executing against the aligned social media strategy

- Assume the voice of our brands, connecting and engaging with fans and followers across all social platforms

- Establish the right social platforms for each brand and target audiences and launch our brands on new platforms where appropriate

- Work closely with key stakeholders to develop exciting business-boosting campaigns and highly engaging content and maintain a robust social content calendar

- Work to identify, surface, and act on real-time engagement opportunities discovered via social listening and reporting processes

- Work with internal and external stakeholders, media, brands and influencers to deliver against agreed partnerships strategy

- Research and implement robust listening, monitoring and reporting structure

- Lead social community management team, providing direction, support and mentoring

- Work with Customer Services team to provide best in class social CS

- Respond to any social issues in appropriate and timely manner

Our ideal Social Media Manager will have the below skills and experience:

- Previous experience as social community management, ideally with a female or teen audience and potentially with an agency background

- Tech savvy with a passion for all things social with an extensive knowledge of past and current social media trends

- Experience in social copywriting and an ability to engage with audiences effectively

- Excellent communicator both written and verbal

- Preferably with experience in Social Media Management systems eg Hootsuite, Sprinklr etc.

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, managing a variety of brands and stakeholders

- Previous experience in leading a team

- A can-do, proactive attitude with the ability to work extremely collaboratively both internally and externally
