The Senior Manager, Marketing Planning & Analytics will be responsible for helping the Marketing team understand the performance of marketing programmes and campaigns to identify opportunities for improvement. The ideal candidate will bring a strong, data-driven and analytical approach to marketing and have a deep understanding of the various channels that marketing uses to generate demand and achieve its goals. The candidate should also be able to effectively partner with and leverage MediaMath's broader marketing function.

Key responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • build and maintain key standard reports and dashboards to help the Marketing team and other key constituents understand the efficacy of marketing campaigns and programmes across all channels;
  • provide regular analysis and optimisation recommendations for all campaigns;
  • serve as the SME on reporting and analytics to the broader marketing team including teaching marketers how to build and analyse their own reports, where appropriate;
  • manage key data capture and management tools including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Demandbase to ensure accurate reporting;
  • partner with the Marketing Operations team on architecture and hygiene of marketing data inside all key systems including Marketo to enable accurate and effective reporting; and
  • develop and optimise a system for measuring the impact of marketing's efforts on revenue as well as the ROI on marketing investments.

Criteria for selection

The candidate must possess the following attributes:

  • five years' experience with B2B marketing, specifically in demand generation, lead management and reporting;
  • expertise in Marketo and Google Analytics and strong familiarity with Salesforce;
  • strong analytic skills with ability and passion for Microsoft Excel;
  • ability to interpret data for simple communication and presentation to key constituents;
  • ability to present to executive audiences - eg Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Risk Officer;
  • self motivated and a problem solver;
  • organised, accountable and attention to detail; and
  • committed to learning and keeping up to date with industry trends, marketing technology, measurement and analytics.
