A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a driven Senior Corporate Tax Manager to join a highly respected UK Top 25 practice. As a Senior Corporate Tax Manager you will be personable and commercially minded with a proven track record of dealing with entrepreneurial clients and a range of complex tax issues. You will also have a proven ability to work closely with more senior colleagues, as you will be working with tax partners at the firm on a range of with other advisory projects.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Undertaking complex compliance work and overseeing compliance work dealt with by more junior members of the department

Supervising the existing Corporate Tax Manager and Tax Senior and any tax trainees that may be seconded or recruited to the department

Providing technical advice to the audit department and providing technical back up to the Corporate Tax Partners

Assisting in Corporate transactions (purchases/sales) i.e.
clearances, due diligence, review of Sale & Purchase Agreements/Tax

Dealing with the more complex areas of Corporate Tax i.e. Transfer Pricing, Loan Relationships and FOREX etc.

Have the opportunity to assist in the production of tax brochures and preparing technical memos for partners/staff as appropriate

Assisting the Corporate Tax Partners with advisory and consulting projects as required

To succeed in this role, you will need a varied set of skills as The Department advises clients across the practice and the work they undertake is very broad. This often includes matters such as:

Complex compliance

M&A - due diligence, structuring, refinancing

Bespoke tax planning and consulting

Exit planning and succession planning

Share schemes


Inward investment

International structuring

HMRC enquiries and investigationsTo
be considered for this role will:

Be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA)

Have passed the CTA exams

Possess at least 5 years corporate tax experience
