Are you a hands on Financial Systems expert looking for a new challenge? Would you like to join a global organisation in a high profile role? This is a key role within the Global Finance Strategy and Transformation function, leading, developing and managing the Global Finance Systems Operations team. The team is based in both the UK and the US, delivering systems and operational support across the Group. As the successful applicant you will be responsible for the ownership, maintenance and governance of the Group consolidated reporting systems (Controller and TM1 currently) and supporting the development of transformation strategy around these. Managing data governance & standards. Working closely with stakeholders to determine their requirements and working with the development team to prioritise and implements solutions in a collegiate and timely manner. Providing a centre of excellence, developing best practice across the Group through active use of the intranet, knowledge sharing tools, training and through running champion forums. Ongoing development and application of SOx controls over Cognos Controller and TM1 including change control, environment management and user access. Optimisation of the applications to ensure they are "fit-for-purpose" to meet business management information and SEC reporting requirements efficiently, monitoring performance for the systems and their support. Liaison with system suppliers and IT to ensure that the system is properly supported and robust, and that the Group's objectives are met in terms of supplier change programmes.
To be considered you will be an excellent communicator able to demonstrate a track record of influencing, setting and implementing change within a finance transformation environment driving continuous improvement in global finance systems management or similar operational role You will ideally have previous experience with Cognos - preferably TM1 or Controller as an administrator, controller or systems manager, other systems will be considered but Cognos is preferred. An accounting qualification would be beneficial but you will need to demonstrate a clear understanding of financial standards and accounting principles. You will have extensive people management skills in both a direct, matrix and third party environment.
