Senior Consultant Pharma (Strategist, Planner, Service Design) - London

GBP55,000 to GBP75,000 + great benefits

My client, is an international creative marketing consultancy, made for modern healthcare marketing. They are looking for a Senior Consultant to be based in Central London.
Combining the commercial focus of a consultancy with the creative vision of an agency, they work across the entire marketing landscape - globally and regionally, strategically and tactically, at a brand, portfolio and organisational level.

An exciting opportunity is now open for an experienced Consultant to join their growing team!

Responsibilities
As a senior consultant, you are responsible for the health of the client relationship; for understanding your clients business and multi-channel marketing requirements, developing bespoke strategic solutions that meet (or better surpass) them and in doing so develop and grow the client relationship.
These solutions will be achieved by turning research and insight into vision, strategy and plan.
As well as expert in writing proposals and statements of work, you are comfortable briefing, leading a project team of expert internal consultants and support staff as well as external contractors and agencies.
You are responsible for estimating and specifying resources required to deliver solutions, for the overall quality of your deliverables and the profitability of your projects.
You will need to be able to understand and follow conversation around the science that underpins our client?s products and services. You do not have to be a scientist, but a science or biology degree would definitely help. Any specific and deep therapy area knowledge and experience will be a bonus.
You will be a mentor for a small number of less experienced consultants, helping them to achieve their own skills, capabilities and career progression.

Experience/qualifications and skills:

Essential
Highly numerate and literate
Demonstrable experience at Senior level in at least one of these areas:
Strategy and planning - knowledge of strategic planning process and insight generation
Customer experience - experience of the full lifecycle of iterative UCD or service design, from initial research, through to full specification, and the willingness to apply these techniques to higher level customer experience problems.
Implementation support - knowledge of digital tactics best practice, including, owned web sites and portals, content partnerships, mobile, social, eDetailing, remote detailing, webinars and reach tactics such as PPC, SEO, email etc. Experience of specifying websites and content briefs.
Optimisation - experience of using web analytics and metrics and an understanding of how to measure and assess digital performance

Desired
Global/regional (or even local) brand manager for a healthcare brand.
Worked as a strategist or planner in an agency environment
A degree in science or marketing.
Global and/or regional experience
Experienced at developing and running workshops
CIM qualifications a definite advantage.
Previous experience working in marketing either client side or in an agency/consultancy
