A leading cloud specialist consultancy company that builds new solutions from scratch and integrates that within the companies are looking for a Linux DevOps engineer to join their collaborative and innovative team. Unlike most others, projects are 99% greenfield and designed to solve business problems via clear deliverables. Therefore, you will be exposed to a wide variety of tech stacks and businesses. Technology is at the heart of what this business does and they provide new innovative ways of improving solutions like cloud. They have worked with the biggest names including channel 4, CBRE, HSBC, ASOS and more.

From day one, you will make an impact on this role using the very latest technologies available and working in the design and implementation of a DevOps project. To give you an insight into how much this company push the boundaries of technology, they are presenting at Microsoft in regards to the first ever Azure hosted container run in a Linux environment!

First of all, the DevOps engineer will have a lot of experience in creating automated build and deployment pipelines in AWS within a Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment. Your "must have" skills are not the focus for this company, but rather an engineering mind-set and a proven ability to take initiative and solve problems.

That being said, they are looking for someone who will have built deployment pipelines from scratch, taking code from commit right through to Production in Azure using tools such as TeamCity and Octopus Deploy. Experience with Configuration Management tools would be beneficial.
You will need to have previous experience working closely with developers where you have either improved the current deployment pipeline or have built a new pipeline from scratch.

You will be joining a team to take complex situations and build simple tech solutions for existing applications, and this will be done by building from scratch.
How they actually operate is in teams that are like mini-development functions targeted for specific projects, typically comprising a Project Manager, Business Analyst and Technical Lead guiding delivery for .NET or Java, Front End, QA, and DevOps. As a DevOps Engineer, you will work within the development team to ensure a scalable and highly available deployment pipeline is in place for all projects. You will be responsible for the complete end-to-end design & implementation of a Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipeline hosted in Azure.

Everyone in the team is senior and there is a lot of knowledge sharing within the teams and a start-up feel even though this is not a start-up company. Training is key to success with this company; they encourage full use of a 2K training budget as well as access to online resources.
