Barclays are recruiting for a permanent Middle Office Analyst to work at the London office to join the Middle Office Team.

The team works closely with sales and trading, market risk and infrastructure partners (finance, IT and post Trade Services) to ensure that all trades are captured accurately and in a timely manner, and all regulatory commitments are met. The team also specialises in providing technical assistance on a variety of programmes and initiatives (regulatory build and execution, regulatory controls, Basel III, Leveraged balance Sheet etc.)

Your Role

The main duties could do strategic design, build and maintenance of key technical config to ensure accuracy and completeness of EOD deliverables. Assisting in establishing meaningful cross asset governance and standardisation.
  • System, Model & Metric Calibration Control
  • Supporting the on-boarding to Beowulf.
  • Strategic system migration and legacy system decommissioning
  • Technical sign off's to risk calibration - liaising with FO/IVC/MR/IMO/PCG
  • Project based work including but not limited to:
    • Supporting business expansion (both geographical expansion and new product offerings)
    • Supporting strategic infrastructure developments (specifying system requirements, involvement in testing of system migrations, etc).
    • Tactical process enhancements to make recurring tasks more efficient, accurate and value add
    • Development of new processes to further enhance the control environment. System, Model & Metric Calibration Control.
    • Supporting the on-boarding to Barx Options Risk of all Macro Businesses (Project Beowulf).
    • Strategic system migration and legacy system decommissioning.
    • Technical sign off's to risk calibration - liaising with FO/IVC/MR/IMO/PCG
