My client is looking for a business development manager with experience in working with and selling food/catering products to the hospitality industry as an account manager with responsibilities to establish new business, revenue capture and growing/developing customer accounts.

The main focus of this role two fold. Firstly it is to source and secure new clients in the M25 corridor area.

Secondly maintaining accounts and developing account growth of each business, liaising with and interacting with customers, building relationships and keeping customers informed, co-ordinating supplier account information.

The job requires the holder to work closely with and support the sales team to drive revenue and grow existing business.

Great person-to-person skills, excellent communicator both written and verbal with an excellent telephone manner, must be pro-active, self-motivated and people oriented, able to work accurately and with detail, resourceful and results oriented.

Must be fully competent with Word, Excel and ACT (CRM), have a high level of numeracy. Must have a good level of education.

Smart and well presented this person must be able to gain confidence quickly, has a high level of integrity and able to make things happen.

This person must have a clean driving licence, as the role will include extensive field sales work.

Role Description

This person will be responsible for developing new business

Able to develop key and new account once they are established, take an active part in sales and business reviews process and actively seek to grow business.

This is a person who is an excellent communicator, has a proactive sales and account management approach and experience ideally working in hospitality or a food based sector. (Catering sales).

This person is competitive, enthusiastic about their job, takes a pride in what they achieve, they are accurate, well planned and organised in their work, and methodical in approach to tasks.

This person is able to quickly establish rapport build and maintain progressive client and supplier relationships.

This person is a competent and skill sales person experienced in developmental business and account management.

Work with key fresh produce suppliers to further develop the relationship with our clients.

This person will be the custodian of supplier relationships responsible for the review process for these suppliers.

Add value to our clients business by using skills and knowledge to support them to maintain and improve profit

Someone who possesses very good numeric skills and has a good command of both written and metal mathematics, competent using and interpreting reports, graphs and numerical data, is logical and able to use numbers, percentages and fractions accurately as part of an effective sales approach.
