Experian has an exciting opportunity for a Risk professional in Commericial Governance to join Experian Consumer Services to support the CreditMatcher Product. CreditMatcher is provided by Experian, a leading credit reference agency. Experian holds and maintains credit information and provides credit referencing to all major high street banks and many other lending institutions in the UK.
The purpose of the role is to ensure that CreditMatcher has the appropriate controls and oversight in place on its commercial partners.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for lender onboarding - to define and implement the process for onboarding new lenders. Agree minimum standards, due diligence and tolerances. To carry out any on-site testing prior to onboard, maintain appropriate documentation and repeat periodically during the life of contracts
  • Customer outcome testing on the partner side. To keep track of and report customer outcomes for customers after leaving CreditMatcher and moving to the partner sites. Review completion rates, complaints, drop outs and present them in a weekly / monthly customer dashboard
  • Develop action plans and work with the commercial managers to rectify any gaps or issues promptly within the approved risk management framework
  • Devise an appropriate testing programme for mortgage eligibility working closely with brokers and partners
  • Maintain governance on 3rd party partners
  • Manage the invoicing process across the CreditMatcher business and work with Finance to refine and optimise the process
  • Develop plans for appropriate commercial governance on commission payments across CreditMatcher
  • Facilitate and drive performance management processes

  • A bachelor's degree in risk management, finance, economics, business management, statistics, computer science and/or other related fields is required.
  • A risk management certification would be beneficial, e.g. Certified Risk Analyst (CRA), Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), Professional Risk Manager (PRM) and/or Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).
  • 4+ years related work experience is required.
  • Strong understanding of UK regulatory environment & FCA regulations
