An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified individual to join the Asset Confiscation Enforcement (ACE) Team, part of the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU) hosted by Thames Valley Police on behalf of the region.
SEROCU leads the response across the region to the risk posed by serious and organised crime in Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex and Thames Valley. It is committed to relentlessly disrupting these risks by using its 13 capabilities and by partnership working with the National Crime Agency, Forces and other partners.
SEROCU provides the vital link from national capabilities and expertise to local policing and knowledge, enabling the South East region to deliver the government's Serious and Organised Crime Strategy and to protect communities from harm.
In this role you will research, develop and disseminate financial intelligence throughout the SEROCU and externally to partners to enable effective tasking and decision making to take place on subjects involved in criminal activities at regional/international levels.
The successful applicant will have good team working, organisational and time management skills. You will also be IT literate, have good problem solving skills and the ability to collate information from various sources in order to assess and evaluate information.
You may be required to travel for business purposes on occasion and demonstrate flexibility regarding working hours. For this reason a full UK Driving licence is considered essential. You must be prepared to be security cleared to an enhanced level.
