About the Recruitment Executive role

Reporting to the Global Recruiter, the purpose of this role is to manage the full end to end recruitment cycle, alongside the Global Recruiter, for the Yachts & Flexiski businesses. This will include Head Office and Seasonal positions. Seasonal positions will be the main focus, due to the ever-changing and fast paced operational demands of our business. Designing, leading and running assessment centres will be a key activity, as well as screening, interviewing and testing other candidates according to the business needs. Providing administrative support to the Global Recruiter, and HR team is another element to this role. A seamless, professional and high standard end to end recruitment process is the goal of this position, which is part of the wider HR & Recruitment team.

Main Duties of our Recruitment Executive

- Working alongside the global recruiter to design and implement assessment materials

- Screening applications according to business need, using own industry knowledge and experience to test for cultural and technical fit

- Take a proactive approach with direct sourcing for more niche or challenging roles

- Identify campaign/recruitment risks with the ability to contribute to solutions - using own initiative and experience to deliver positive outcomes for the business

- Run and manage seasonal assessment days for the Yachts & Flexiski business areas

- Take the lead on recruiting decisions in the absence of the Global Recruiter or HR Business Partners

- Confidently conduct first line interviews via Skype, Telephone or face to face

- Assist the Global Recruiter to produce detailed reports on recruitment progress against targets, assessment attendance, fill up rates and rejections - and take ownership of results as presented.

- Present at Global meetings as required, on Global Recruitment and team progress

- Assist with the creation of talent pools for internal and external candidates

- Create exciting content to increase the attraction reach of vacancies using Social Media, printed media and other mediums

- Responsible for completing all pre-employment checks including collecting and collating all Right to Work documents required to complete the onboarding process, followed by chasing employees/selected candidates for these where applicable.

- Providing detailed and constructive feedback for candidates at all stages of the recruitment process

- Attend recruitment events when required including boat shows, sailing schools, colleges, and job fairs where it is the expectation is that you will present with confidence to large groups about the relevant brands, vacancies and prospects within Travelopia group.

- Managing the recruitment inbox and responding to all emails in a timely fashion to ensure excellent service is provided at all times

- Any other adhoc tasks as directed by your line manager

Key Skills & Requirements of our Recruitment Executive

- Demonstrable experience delivering presentations to large groups is essential

- Ability to influence and work with Senior stakeholders to demonstrate the capability and success of the recruitment function within Yachts & Flexiski

- Ability to work flexibly - evenings and weekends when requested

- Ability to travel within the UK & Overseas - including overnight stays - potentially with no notice

- Knowledge and experience of administration functions

- Experience working with large amounts of data and in a role where attention to detail is key

- Customer Service experience within a client facing role

- Experience working independently and without guidance and to tight deadlines

- Knowledge of the yachting industry and relevant qualifications and training needs

- Experience within an in-house recruitment role and kowledge of recruitment systems is desirable

- Previous yachting background and Yachting qualifications are highly desirable

- Educated to GCSE or equivalent level with C+ in Maths & English is desirable

- Amadeus or travel booking system experience is desirable

- A CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential

- Proficient in Microsoft Office is essential
