The role of Cisco Services Account Manager is predominantly an Inside Sales role and acts as services expert. The new hire will be responsible for delivering against sales targets as well as engaging with stakeholders as a trusted advisor and develop long term partner relationships.

Performance indicators

Achieve annual margin target and deliver against personal, team and company KPI's

Partner retention and growth targets against an assigned set of accounts (services Attach, Renew and Pen rates)

Build and execute a contact strategy for each partner account

Build strong relationships with decision makers across the account base Proactively identify new business opportunities across the account base and work with the relevant department to win the business

To manage CRM, ensuring that all contact information is current and accurate and any data issues are resolved in a timely way

Develop the skills and knowledge required company portfolio of products and propositions

Recognises and delivers against opportunities for business growth via a multi-channel approach

Provide support to field based sales team as and when appropriate - Partner and internal enablement


Experience with Cisco Services (highly desirable)

Track record of sales in an IT services environment

Previous experience growing and retaining revenues across a given account base

Proven track record of achieving targets and meeting KPIs

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to analyse customer needs and recommend solutions which meet those needs

Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise own workload

Ability to work on own initiative

Able to handle account issues in a patient and friendly manner

Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written

Professional and dynamic - being an ambassador within your service

Deal hunter and closer
Consultative sales skills and good overall relationship management skills, solution sales oriented, service minded; interest in customer.
