Are you an experienced administrator from a Stores / warehouse environment looking for the next step in their career?

Working as part of a diverse logistics team, the administrator provides support to ensure that basic shipments are handled in accordance with company procedures.

The duties of the logistics administrator will include, but not be limited to;

Understanding and responding to urgent customer orders as well as routine shipments
*

Processing basic shipments using agreed procedures
*

Communicating professional with both internal and external customers
*

Assisting with the negotiation of cost effective shipment methods when required
*

Gaining pricing for hazardous and heavyweight shipments
*

Obtaining relevant shipment details to complete paperwork requirements, ensuring accurate paperwork completion
*

Supporting turnaround times with a high level of service
*

Liaising and coordinate with internal departments as required
*

Updating internal IT systems as required

The logistics administrator will have the following attributes;

Experience of working in an administrative role within a distribution, stores and logistics environment
*

Self-motivated, analytical thinker with attention to detail
*

Desire to learn and develop knowledge and skills within Logistics
*

Enjoys new daily challenges, gaining satisfaction from problem solving
*

Excellent communicator at all levels, both written and verbal
*

Ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines
*

Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft office
*

UK Drivers license, and own transport

Role: Logistics Administrator

Location: Burgess Hill

Salary: GBPon application

Working hours: 37.5 hours, Monday - Friday, hours to be worked flexibly between 7am-7pm
