We have an exciting opening in our Capital and Portfolio Directorate for an experienced Assistant Business Accountant to join our team on a 12 month fixed term contract.

We are currently recruiting an Assistant Business Accountant (Data Analyst) who will provide data analysis support to our Capital Accountant during the re-implementation of the group fixed assets register. You will responsible for maintaining strong relationships with other teams to ensure the required data is obtained and delivered within set deadlines.

The Capital and Portfolio Directorate is reliant on asset data to enable it to manage the effective and efficient use of its fixed asset register for accounting adjustments and for decision making. You will be providing analyst services to support the Capital Accounting function. You will assist in analysing data to make improvements in the groups fixed assets register.

To qualify for this role you will have experience of working in a finance environment and be educated to a degree level. Ideally you will be studying towards a recognised accountancy qualification.

We are looking for someone with a high proficiency in Excel, with the ability to data mine and analyse large and complex data sets. You will have an understanding of fixed asset registers and the process involved with maintaining and reviewing the data.

You will be a team player with excellent communication skills and experience of developing working relationships.

This job position will be offered as a 12 month fixed term contract. This post is based in Camden at our Head Office. The hours for this role are 35 hours per week.
