Specific duties of the Evening Production Cook include:
- To correctly weigh up ingredients as per the recipe sheets and record traceability.
- To cook the food as per the standard recipes and finished-goods documentation; ensuring you work to the desired quality standards.
- To assist in rectifying recipes if there are shortages or left overs to minimise losses.
- To package all products in the correct manner according to finished-goods documentation.
- To work on factory trials for new launches with the retail or foodservice sectors.
- To work in a hygienic and safe manner at all times, following and enforcing hygiene regulations and Health and Safety regulations in accordance of SALSA accreditation.
- To report to the Evening Production Supervisor
You will be an experienced cook who is working in a similar working environment and ideally have food hygiene certification. You will be a dynamic, creative individual, highly organised, understand efficient methods of working, cook to a consistent and high level, be a team player and looking to further progress your career in a professional and forward-thinking business
