Where: Bracknell (Primarily) and London Victoria

Rate: up to GBP500 per day

Responsibilities and Duties:

* Take responsibility for the day to day operational management of our VoIP networks, IP Telephony, Contact Centre and Video applications, with a particular focus on the CIsco Telepresence VC and Cisco Webex environments.
* The provision of some 3rd line support for production systems and roll-out activities.
* Communicate with a number of 1st/2nd line support teams to manage calls and resolve within an allotted time.
* Carry out configuration to complete work requests relating to the set-up and administration of our VoIP networks, IP Telephony, and Video applications.
* Carry out testing and development of new IP Communications applications and features as well as the roll-out of IP telephony to new sites.
* Work with our channel partners to support delivery of IP Communications/ video projects and the resolution of technical issues.
* The production of documentation will be required.
* This role will predominately be carried out during business hours (09:00-17:30), although some out of hours work may be required. The team is currently in the process of relocating from London to Bracknell so the candidate will be expected to work out of offices in Victoria, London and Bracknell, RG12 8YA, depending upon business requirements. Occasional visits to store locations may also be necessary.

Duties:

* Lead in the development of new VC and collaboration solutions to meet business needs.
* Carry out infrastructure configuration of IP PBXes, VoIP gateways, Cisco Telepresence, Webex and IP video telephony endpoints and related network services (MCUs, VCS Control and Expressway/ TMS, Jabber etc.)
* Manage trouble ticket queue prioritizing calls according to business impact.
* Respond to 3rd Line Support Calls in the IP Communications environment.
* Raise and/or implement changes or work requests using our change management platform and processes. Ensure changes and work requests are completed within the allotted time.
* Carry out other routine technical administration and 'run' tasks as required (e.g. firmware or software upgrades, system administration, business continuity testing etc).
* Work within project teams to deliver infrastructure change in the Unified Communications/ Video Conferencing space.
* Assist in the development of new solutions to meet business needs.
* Own and track technical cases that may need to be raised with our channel partners or suppliers.
* Provide an accurate weekly recording of hours spent against work areas using provided software.
* Contribute as required to Infrastructure Services weekly operational reporting.
* Provide regular progress reports and updates to other members of the team and to the team manager as required.

Experience and Skills Required:

* The successful candidate for this position will have an excellent working knowledge of IP Communications in enterprise environments.
* A good understanding of enterprise networking, including WAN/ LAN/ Wireless/ TCP/IP / Ethernet/ ISDN/ DNS/ DHCP/ 802.1X/ QoS/ Security.
* Experience of change management in enterprise and data-centre environments.

The candidate must have experience in these specific areas:

* Cisco VCS Control and VCS Expressway build, configuration and troubleshooting.
* Cisco Telepresence Management Suite (TMS) build, configuration and troubleshooting.
* Cisco Telepresence Content Server (TCS) build, configuration and troubleshooting.
* Cisco Telepresence endpoints (C series/ MX series/ EX series/ DX series/ SX series)
* Cisco Multipoint Control Units (MSE 8000 / 4500) build, configuration and troubleshooting.
* Cisco IM&P, including Cisco Jabber, build configuration and troubleshooting.
* Cisco Collaboration Edge.
* Cisco Communications Manager Versions 8.6 through to 11.x troubleshooting and configuration.
* Understanding of Cisco Webex solutions (including CMR Cloud) and their administration.
* Cisco IOS routers (ISRs, ISR G2, ISR4000s), specifically voice configuration.
* Cisco L3 switches.
* MGCP, H.323, SIP, CUBE and TDM gateways
* PRI/ BRI ISDN and SIP PSTN trunks
* Analogue telephony (including Cisco VG248, VG224 and ATAs)
* SCCP, H.323, SIP, DNS, DHCP, CDP.
