Equinix are looking for a Payroll Analyst to join the team. This is a brand new position within the Payroll department which means that the we are looking for a driven individual who will build the role, create and streamline processes and really make it their own. This is a great opportunity for knowledge and experience within treasury and disbursements who will be working with stakeholders across the business including the General Ledger team, Treasury team and wider finance team. There will be project work involved and we are looking for an individual to drive innovation and look for constant improvement areas. • Review, approve, and process, in partnership with the EMEA region payrolls and the Treasury team, payroll-related cash disbursements/ money movement
• Work to improve/automate payroll-related cash disbursements/ money movement with the EMEA region
• Support GL Team as needed with respect to reconciliation of Payroll accounts
• Support GL team as needed to analyze and explain fluctuations in payroll activity
• Partner and interact with local payroll processing contacts within the EMEA region and become increasingly familiar with their payroll processes over time
• Timely and accurate execution and documentation of relevant SOX controls
• Assist with the implementation of a new time tracking/ time an attendance system in tool in the UK and assume the responsibility of the PTO accrual as and when time tracking is rolled out within the region
• Participate in the EPIC (Employee Payment and Information Consolidation) Program as EMEA regional SME for payroll related payments / money movement
• Work with members of the Accounting team with regards to audit, general support and other projects as necessary
• Executing sensitive transactions as and when required

Qualifications & Experience:

• Highly proficient in interpreting payroll rules and regulations with regards to disbursements
• The ability to partner and interact with the EMEA region payroll and Treasury teams
• Proven experience with payroll related cash disbursements / money movement
• Flexibility and adaptability to support simultaneous business demands and deadlines
• Ability to maintain a high level of integrity, accuracy and confidentiality
• Highly motivated/proactive, eager to learn and interested in advancement within the company

• Previous experience of Global Financial System (ie Oracle)
• Degree in Accounting
• Knowledge of languages in EMEA beyond English
