About the Role for Behaviour Mentor
As a Behaviour Mentor your duties will include aiding the learning and development of pupils of all abilities across the school. The school expects you to adopt the inclusive ethos it instils by providing SEN pupils with a balanced school experience which accelerates their academic and personal growth. In this Behaviour Mentor post you will be supporting teaching and learning across the school in small groups of no more than 6 - 8 students in a class at any one time.

Person Specification for Behaviour Mentor
The right Behaviour Mentor applicant will have the need to rise to difficult situations and use them challenge themselves and develop their approach. You must have the skills to play a supportive role, making sure every student feels they are looked after. The successful Behaviour Mentor candidate will have the skills to really add to after school clubs and contribute to school wide activities. You will need to be a resilient graduate who has experience supporting SEN children and has the drive to take an energetic approach to education or be someone with relevant SEN support experience to apply for this role.
