Senior Research Manager (9 month maternity cover)

The in-House qualitative team sits within the Research team here at Sky (alongside Analytics and Quantitative), which provides business-critical insight to the business.

We don't have the same constraints as an agency does - we're in a positon where we have the freedom to conduct research in a way we feel best answers the questions in the brief. Being an internal resource lends an additional strategic angle to our role in terms of ensuring research findings and the customer perspective continue to be implemented, even after the debrief.
We are looking for someone with expertise to lead a range of ad hoc qualitative projects. Depending on project requirements, we're looking for a well-rounded qualitative researcher (versed in both online and face to face qual techniques) to use their skills in leading and supporting on the range of projects briefed into the team
Ad hoc qualitative research projects
Working with other members of the qual team to devise methodologies and manage projects
Organisation & Development
Handle multiple projects from start to finish - often to challenging deadlines and varying degrees of complexity
Having confidence to present in front of and lead workshops with the most senior Sky stakeholders, with a willingness to advocate the consumer perspective
Proven ability to think creatively and challenge ways of working
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent stakeholder management
Strong communication skills
Confident presenter and facilitator - able to corral a senior audience
Experience of working under pressure and to tight deadlines within a highly dynamic environment
