Relief Chef to work in a busy kitchen supporting 78 residents and team members in the preparation/cooking of food including daily cakes and biscuits to the bistro. The post holder will fill in when the chefs are not on duty such as covering sickness and annual leave. You will be responsible for ensuring residents nutrition is ensured and advice on allergens is available. You will keep an organised, clean and tidy kitchen and clean as you go observing cleanliness and managing the risk of infection or other health and safety issues. In addition, you will be responsible for the timely delivery of trolleys to the satellite kitchens on three floors, breakfast, lunch and supper. You will be supported by hosts and kitchen assistants. Some washing up may be required.
