A global retailer for luxury goods has an immediate vacancy for an experienced enthusiastic and detail-oriented Beading and Stringing Supervisor in their beautiful London Head Office.
The ideal candidate will have excellent people management skills, deliver the highest standard of service for a luxury brand making handcrafted bracelets and working in a deadline driven environment.
Experience with beading and stringing is desirable, but not essential and, but excellent communication skills and remaining calm under pressure is a must.

Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Managing a team of up to five Beading/ Stringing and Jewellery Repair Assistants to produce high quality, hand crafted bracelets and wrist wear to agreed deadlines
  • Ensuring all products are meeting the required luxury standard guidelines
  • Motivating, training and developing the team and upskilling where necessary
  • Beading and stringing luxury jewellery items to support the production
  • Making leather bracelets from quality material
  • Repairing Jewellery for customer on request and to the agreed deadlines
  • Testing products and ensuring quality standards
  • Participating and supporting continued improvement of work processes
  • Meeting and exceeding production targets
  • Meeting all health and safety guidelines

Person Requirements:

  • At least 2 years experience in managing and training a team of production line workers in a creative industry or with jewellery
  • Experience in working as part of a Head Office team and a small family business
  • Affinity and talented to work with their hands and complete hand crafted jewellery
  • Excellent verbal communication skills across departments
  • Strong coaching and team motivation skills
  • Honest, reliable and trustworthy attitude to work
  • Enjoys working under pressure and deliver quality outcome during busy periods
  • Understands English to comply with all instructions
  • Good written English to label items if required
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel and Word
  • Experience in the jewellery industry in London
  • Portuguese language would be beneficial
