Administration & Finance assistant To provide robust administration and finance support Resource Coordination Team. Ensure that all providers are set-up appropriately on Council systems to facilitate accurate and timely payment, liaising with colleagues in Finance and ICT

Administration & Finance assistant Take a lead role to investigate and resolve invoice variation queries to ensure payments to providers are maximised

Administration & Finance assistant Provide the first point of contact for providers where they have payment or financial queries, taking a lead to ensure satisfactorily resolved

Lead on financial reconciliations on provider payments where contractual arrangements change or end

Ensure all financial transactions are made and authorised in line with the Council's financial authorisations and delegated authority limits

1, Experience of working in financial role,
2: Strong communication & literacy skills in writing, telephone & face to face,
3 Computer literate in microsoft packages especially word, excel and outlook, ability to use multi main frame systems,
4 Good organisational skills with attention to detail
5 Numerate understanding the accuracy of accountability & spreadsheet experience
