Job Title: Regional Nurse Manager

Department: Nursing

Business Area: Calea Sales and Marketing

Location: Field Based

Reports To: Clinical Business Manager

Job Purpose

To manage a region to deliver a commercially focused, efficient and safe service to our patients that is recognised as the leading provider within our market in order to drive the business growth strategy.

Main Accountabilities

As directed by the clinical business manager proactively implement operational aspects of the business strategy that will enable service growth, whilst ensuring a consistently high standard nursing service that meets the needs of the business, customers and patients.

As directed by the clinical business manager ensure their team is compliant with all recognised and relevant standards, internally and externally, to ensure patient safety and in order to comply with legislation as defined by government and statutory bodies.

Direct and support a team of field based nurse advisors to ensure that an effective, motivated and appropriately skilled professional team is maintained, and a culture of continuous improvement is developed in order to optimise individual and team performance in line with strategic goals set by the clinical business manager maintaining a consistently high standard nursing service.

Be part of a continuous recruitment drive in order to support capacity requirements and maintain safe levels of staffing.

In conjunction of the clinical business manager work cross-functionally with sales and business development to promote the nursing service in order to achieve increased sales, maintain loyalty and increase brand awareness.

Work cross functionally with other Fresenius Kabi operational teams in order to deliver a full homecare service and work with the clinical business manager to resolve com plaints and incidents to enable a rapid response to the customer and resolution of the issue.

Work at all times within the NMC code of conduct and professional practice to ensure registration is maintained and safe practice is delivered.

Deputise for the Clinical Business Manager and cover for other RNMs in order to cover annual leave and absence.

Authority

Responsibility for Nursing Service provision and personnel within team. .

Performance Measurement

Performance will be measured during one-to-one meetings and also annually using the Competect Performance Review Document.

Experience & Qualifications

  1. Registered Nursing qualification/s
  2. ENB 998 or equivalent
  3. Previous management experience .
  4. Minimum of 5 years post registration with at least 2 at management level.
