Job Details This is a senior role and forms part of the global IT Operations function. Working in close collaboration with all departments (in particular IT Infrastructure & Core Systems, Legal Technology Solutions and Risk & Security) within the IT organisation, this role will represent a shared view when communicating the roadmaps to the IT Leadership (ITL) group and other senior stakeholders as appropriate. The role should represent the shared view from all product management teams (inc Business Stakeholders, Product Managers, Architects) at Governance Boards The role will proactively work with all departments to encourage a culture that ensures that architectural activities remain consistent and effective across the organisation globally, working through a proven and tested framework and to required standards. The role will own and manage the single roadmap which represents the business goals and strategy, whilst linking all domain specific roadmaps. Key Responsibilities Accountable for supporting and maintaining overall aggregation of the roadmaps, including risk and dependency management, supporting the GPG planning and scheduling. Each product management team will own and maintain the roadmap for their portfolio. Maintain a broad understanding of all underpinning roadmaps to effectively represent the roadmaps to the relevant stakeholders (including IT Leadership team). Work with the Domain Architects, lead and run the Architecture Community of Practice for the domain as per Form an architecture framework to ensure consistency of architecture professional standards across all domains, which will include. Ongoing Architecture capability assessments Designing and maintaining the Architecture Principles to ensure overall principles are complied with for solution delivery decisions. Designing and maintaining the Architecture process and procedures Designing and maintaining Architecture Tools, including templates to speed up delivery. Managing the technology roadmap classifications in the CC environment Work with senior management in each Domain to ensure that architectural resourcing levels and allocation remain appropriate across the organisation. Skills and Qualifications Skills: Extensive senior stakeholder management skills Excellent communicator, able to motivate, coach and mentor a strong technical team. Expert knowledge of architecture frameworks and methods such as The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) and the ability to develop and maintain personal architectural knowledge, skills and abilities Used to managing in a matrix management environment. Experience: Previous experience of working for a global professional service environment or corporate organisation such as finance/banking Proven track record of developing and managing strategic roadmaps through to delivery Practical experience of working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment is preferable Practical experience of working with Lean & Agile delivery tools like Agile Central (or other similar tools like JIRA) is desirable.
