A large International Development charity is looking for a capable International Finance Manager to join their team in the London office and work closely with overseas finance teams. This role will involve travel across Africa and Asia and this is a great opportunity to get close to the amazing international work this organization does on a daily basis. The International Finance Manager will report into the Finance Director and will lead the overseas finance teams and will be responsible for preparing forecasts, producing monthly management accounts and monitoring the performance of country teams against forecasts. Building country offices' ability to produce their own financial information will be a key element of this role and will be integral to success in this position. The Finance Manager will also be responsible for producing some donor reports providing information on grant spending and ensure these are submitted on time and accurately. An element of this role covers the production of budgets to submit to donors to secure new funding, this is an exciting chance to take on a position that is close to the international work done by this impressive organization and also be a key part of the continued growth of the organization and have a tangible effect on it going forward. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) and will be passionate about international development and keen to take on a role which involves capacity building travel and ownership of the international finance function. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an international organization and will combine a strong technical accounting skillset with excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude with a constant desire to develop processes and add value.
