Robertson Bell Finance are working with a large and established charity who are seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to join the fundraising arm in the head office which is 20 minutes from Liverpool Street. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Senior Finance Business Partner will support and guide a newly designed program with all aspects of finances including budgeting, management accounts, month-end and year-end. This position is extremely important to the charity and will require an experienced business partner who can make challenging decisions whilst engaging and training non finance budget holders at all levels including director level. This role will provide high quality support by preparing periodic financial statements, business information dashboards, balance sheet reconciliations, budgets, variance analysis and commentaries, as well as ensuring that finance and business information is intelligent, accurate and timely. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with significant business partnering experience in a similarly commercial role, ideally within a fundraising environment as this is a key area of the organisation. The role will suit a strong communicator who is not afraid to challenge decisions if required. You will need the ability to analyse and interpret key financial data while working to tight deadlines. The ability to manage large-scale budgets and achieve challenging financial targets is also essential combined with having excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build rapport with a range of finance and non-finance persons across the organisation.
