Job Title: Virtual Assistant (Part-time)

Location: Home-based

Salary: Up to £25ph d.o.e.

Basis: Part-time - c 20 hours per week.

Our client is a 15 year old niche consultancy, specialising in helping mostly London based clients save money without sacrificing quality. They are a UK leader in outsourcing, procurement and consultancy. They analyse, advise and implement cost reduction strategies for corporates, not for profit clients and professional service firms.

The company is a busy, vibrant team of twelve serving a diverse range of client needs and have a wealth of experience in business services, within the distribution, professional services, hospitality and retail sectors. They have some great clients including household names across the corporate and not for profit sectors.

Job Role:

The company is looking for someone to assist the Managing Director and Owner of the business in day to day activities being the first line of defence in customer, operational and service related issues. You will be tasked in developing process maps and control systems as well as direct support in inbox and calendar management. You will also manage meetings, developing agendas and liaising with attendees and following up with clear and accurate meeting notes.

The role will also include some book-keeping tasks using Xero including dealing with missing receipts, preparing payments, managing expenses claims and developing an effective credit control process.

The Candidate:

The company is looking for an experienced and self-motivated virtual assistant with solid experience in supporting business owners and/or senior directors/managers.

The role would suit someone who is used to working from home or who can make this transition smoothly, therefore you should be highly motivated, a self-starter and be able to work on your own with limited direction. You should have worked previously in an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant role, developing a solid relationship with the business owner/director enabling you to accurately pre-empt their needs. We are also happy to receive applications from Virtual Assistants who may be self-employed currently but who are looking to return to a dedicated role. This is an employed role.

You will have excellent communication and organisational skills with a positive attitude and an out-going, friendly personality. Great IT skills are essential and experience in Xero, Zoho and/or G-Suite (formerly Google Apps for Business) is an advantage.
