We are seeking a Publications Officer preferably with a health information background and strong writing, research and editing skills to join our team. The Brain & Spine Foundation aims to improve the quality of life of people affected by neurological problems by providing expert information, support and education. The Foundation's main services include the Helpline, publications and the Brain & Spine website. The purpose of this role is to develop resources for people affected by neurological problems, with a particular focus on the booklets and fact sheets for patients, carers and health professionals. We are looking for a Publications Officer preferably with a health background and strong writing, research and editing skills, to develop this area of work as part of the wider information team. This dedicated post will allow us to maintain the quality of our booklets and leaflets whilst expanding the number of publications and range of conditions we cover. Some knowledge and understanding of neurological conditions and the Information Standard would be an advantage. For more information please see the Job Description.
